Does the animal need help?

• Contact Wildlife In Need or your local Wildlife Rehabber if you need assistance with capturing the animal• Deer will leave their young alone for long periods of time• Rabbits only feed their young twice a day; once at dawn and dusk• Babies may be reunited with their mom; this is common with raccoons and squirrels• Woodchucks, skunks, weasels/mink/fishers stay close to their mother until they are independent; they probably need help if found alone• Babies with their eyes still closed may leave their den/nest if mom has not returned in awhile; they need assistance
